I first met Seun in January 2021 at the Apostolic Faith Church in Worth, Illinois. Although we attended the same college, we didn’t grow close until after I moved to Missouri in 2023. What started as occasional check-ins soon became deeper conversations, shared prayers, and a friendship that quietly blossomed into love. On Saturday, November 30, 2024, we got engaged. I'm so grateful for the unexpected path that brought us together and excited for the beautiful journey ahead. ~Oluwafunmibi
Growing up I had always wanted to have a female friend who is brilliant, kind, and gentle - someone I'd be happy to spend my life with. The older I grew, the more it seemed challenging to find that friend. I prayed to God to guide and help me. My journey to Chicago in pursuit of a Ph.D. degree paved the way to meet my love, Funbi. We became friends, then lovers, and I am happy for the beautiful journey ahead of us. ~Oluwaseun
